Program Description The
Wounded Healer is a faith-based, non-profit, behavioral healthcare,
human service, and community development corporation, which is dedicated
to the wellness of society through outreach, education, consultation,
counseling and other direct human services. A multi-disciplinary approach include traditional psychological
services, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing,
Christ-Centered Counseling, the Spiritual 12-Step Perspective, as well
as other innovative, alternative therapies, which also promote recovery,
healing and wellness. Program Objectives The
Wounded Healer’s objective is to incorporate the mind, body, and spirit
through a comprehensive holistic, integrative approach to wellness. We
believe that true wellness can only be achieved in an atmosphere of
unconditional love and acceptance of self and other, regardless of age,
race, gender, religion, social status or sexual orientation.
